Teen Charged With Plotting To Kill Peer Files Complaint

A Jefferson County middle school student, charged with plotting to kill another student, has filed a complaint against the school system.

The 14-year-old's mother claims the girl was moved out of her advanced classes at Kammerer Middle School and into a school for children with behavioral problems.

The Courier Journal reports the girl is asking to take classes from home this year and go to a less restrictive high school in the fall.

She, along with another student, and 19-year-old Seth Ryan Woods are accused of planning to kill a 13-year-old girl.

You have got to be kidding! How does this girls family justify filing a complaint. Obvioulsy she does have behavioral problems if she was plotting to kill another student. This famliy needs to step up to the plate and show their daughter that sometimes we make mistakes that require consquences. I am not saying to lock the girl away and throw away the key, but to use this as a way to reach their daughter and show her that there are people in authority positions and we need to respect them and their decisions. I hope this girl has learned from her mistakes and I wish her all the best.

What is the complaint, if she was indeed plotting to kill another student, is this not a behavioral problem.

if she actually conspired to kill another child, she needs to be in a "special school" for kids with behavioral problems.
