My heart goes out to the family. We arrived at the campground the day after this happened. Our friends were there when it happened. This is a tough situation. Please let the family know that we all will remember this little boy and that he has taught us to keep and extra close eye on our little ones. Accidents happen, as tragic as they may be. may God be with you at this time. I'm sorry that you had to go thru this.

if u don't know what u are talking about don't post comments. No he wasn't riding on the highway. This was an accident it could not have been provented. That is what an accident is.this is a very sad situation. My heart goes out to Colin's parents and to the driver of the truck that colided with him.Every one of us can critisize but there is alot of what if's.But a time like this is not the time for that..We as adults take chances everyday we live.If and when u wake up in the morning u never know what u r going to face.I'm sure had they known this was going to happen they would not have been here.Everything happens for a reason, even accidents.

these babies being allowed to operate ATV'S on major and private property is sad.this is what to expect an atv death each and every day . ky state government and law officals have bought into the atv tourist inisitive to save us.the atv dollars spent by tourist will not be enough to pay death and property damage.

this is a dangerous area for atv's since the park opened on that side of the mountain. i blame this accident on the law. they let people ride those stupid things all over this county. and what is a twelve year old doing on one, especially on the highway. this is a sad situation and my heart goes out to the family
