Some hard thinking students in Johnson County have a lot to be proud of.
Johnson Central's "Future Problem Solving Team" took part in an international competition this past weekend at Michigan State University.
Both the middle and high school teams came in first place.
Coaches say students from fourth to twelfth grade spend hours studying then use problem solving and communication skills to come up with solutions to real world issues.
The teams competed against nearly 2,000 students from around the world.
Coaches say students worked beyond the regular school hours to reach this goal.
