Police Identify Man Found Dead In Hotel Room

Police in Jessamine County have a mystery to solve after man was found dead inside of a motel room.

Police were called to the Super 8 motel in Nicholasville Monday night after someone discovered a body lying in a room off Imperial Way.

Police say a maintenance worker was checking out a broken window in the room and found the man lying on the floor. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jessamine County coroner has identified the man as 27-year-old Brian Harris Of Lexington.

An autopsy has been completed, but an official cause of death will not be released until toxicology results come back.

Police say they have reason to believe that Harris's death was suspicious.

Police have not identified any witnesses or suspect in relation to the case.
