Two Wolfe School Girls Banned From Wearing Confederate Flag

The Confederate battle flag was barred from one eastern Kentucky graduation.

Two girls graduating from Wolfe County Middle School weren't allowed to wear their caps decorated with the Confederate flag. Students were told they could decorate their caps, but the principal says the flag is too offensive.

14-year-old Desarae Adkins says she's heartbroken she couldn't wear her cap, and that she just likes the flag and doesn't want to offend anyone.

This is outrageous!! All our rights are being taken a little at a time and just for the sake of "political correctness"..If people would read the actual history of the flag and not the propoganda we have come to take as the truth, then they would see the truth. These girls have every right to wear that flag if they want!!

What about the offence to these girls and the rights afforded to them? Just one more example of garuanteed rights being crapped on in the name of political correctness...

The principal must be a total idiot. Not being allowed to wear the confederate flag is a violation of free speech. Thats why I fly the Kentucky Flag with the Confederate one under it. I will always fly the confederate flag. Let someone come and tell me to take it down. They will get a quick education.

Americans have the right to be rednecks if they want. If you choose not to have the right to choose, move to Africa with Obama. More power to the girls if they wanted to show off the Rebel flag.
