Bike Show Benefits Laurel County Homeless Shelter

One eastern Kentucky homeless shelter is getting a major boost from bikers.

The Renegade Service Center put on a bike show Saturday in London with all proceeds going to the London Christian Homeless Shelter. Event organizers say they hope to raise close to $10,000 for the shelter.

“They are in need everyday of food and clothes so bikers got big hearts you know and they love to help people and that is why we are here,” says Steve Patton, an organizer.

Patton says he plans to have a bike show in the fall to benefit the Laurel Heights Nursing Home.
