Track Government Spending Online

Secretary of State Trey Grayson announced his new Transparency Initiative Monday afternoon during a press conference in Frankfort.

The initiative will give taxpayers the ability to view the secretary of state's office expenditures on-line. The online site's goal is to be user friendly with clear, up-to-date information for citizens.

The public being able to access where the state spends money will allow citizens to have a sense of relief knowing where the money is going and what it's being spent on.

If you'd like to view the online checkbook go to sos.ky.gov/checkitoutky.

Too bad the Federal Gvt. wouldn't do that. That's where the real show is!
