Convenience Store Is Giving Away Prizes By Your Bible Knowledge

How well do you know the Bible?

You might want to do a little studying, especially if you plan to head to one convenience store in nearby Tennessee.

The owner of Friendsville Market in Friendsville has come up with a clever way to reward you for your knowledge of the Bible.

A verse of the day is put up inside the store.

You have the option of memorizing it and coming back to the store to recite it.

Your prize could be a free cold or hot drink.

Some customers say it's a win-win situation.

“It has to do with people caring enough to put it up there. They're not forcing you to do anything, it's something interesting you can go in and ask about, so you can find out about god, too,” Judi Pinkerton reports.

Friendsville Market is located near Highway 321 in Blount County.

Store owners say they give away nearly a dozen free drinks everyday.
