Goody's Store-Closing Sales To Start Soon

A bankruptcy judge has given Goody's the go-ahead to close more than a hundred stores as part of a restructuring plan.

Two of those stores are in central Kentucky, one in Hamburg, the other at Brannon Crossing in Jessamine County.

Goody's is now hoping to begin store-closing sales, as early as this weekend.

The company filed for bankruptcy Monday. It says most of the stores slated to close are operating at a loss.

Wonder how many more Goody's will close. We have one here in Bloomington, In. I like what little Alfred Dunner that they had.

Goody's clothes have always been low quality. Besides the people who work for Goody's, the sweat shops overseas will lose their $1 per day workers. Oh the grief!

It's a shame when a gorgeous and talented actress like Ashley Judd couldn't even save Goody's from bankruptcy. So sad!!

Good for the people getting in on the sales, but bad for the people losing their jobs.
