Storms Pound Jessamine County, Wash Out Music Festival

Clean-up crews spent much of Friday evening just picking up the pieces after an afternoon filled with thunderstorms.

Trees blocked roadways, damaged fences, and littered the ground. For clean-up crews the most important thing was to get them off the roadways. Saturday, more crews will return to pick up the debris.

Also in Jessamine County, The Icthus Festival suffered a serious blow from the storms. Nearly all of the musical acts of the evening were cancelled. While many festival-goers said they were disappointed, others found way to entertain themselves by playing games and making their own music. The Festival will continue Saturday.

If any secular event had as many "acts of god" ruin it year after year, the christians would be screaming about how their god is showing his disapproval.
