Police Search For Hotel Robbers

Lexington Police are searching for two men who held up a hotel late Sunday night.

Police say the two men came into the Holiday Inn Express on Elkhorn Road off Winchester Road, asking where the vending machines were located.

They left and came back in a second time when they robbed the clerk, police say.

One had a black handgun.

They're described as two white men in their early 20's, standing around 5'9".

The clerk told police the men were wearing baggy clothes with striped shirts and ball caps.

They got away with cash.

No one was hurt.
