Lexington Construction Site Latest Target of Vandals

Earlier this week, dozens of drivers on Victoria Way woke up to find their tires were slashed. Now, a construction site at the end of Victoria Way is targeted.

The foreman of the site says they found several windows shattered by rocks. Also, five fire extinguishers were extinguished all over the property.

The foreman says it took thousands of dollars to repair the damage, but the hours lost to fix the problems were the most costly.

Many, including the foreman, believe the vandals are teenagers.

Lexington police say they are following up on leads in the investigation and ask anyone with information to call the police department.

Both Randy and Goebel are correct, unless action is taken soon. I know the police are working hard to find these kids, but until they do, all parents need to take a look at where their kids are at night. Set your alarm and check on them at 2 or 3 am without them knowing. If they aren't in their beds, or in the house somewhere, it is cause for concern. Once these kids are caught, they need to be the ones held financially responsible. Make them do community service and make them get jobs to pay restitution to their victims. You can't always hold the parents responsible for what their teens do. Once they are old enough to know right from wrong, it really falls on the teens as much as the parents.

Sounds like these people are future convicts.

This is another thing similar to the teenage girl getting killed in joyride accident, Why are parents letting their children sneak out and them not know it? I think I would know if my child snuck out, Punishment is what some kids need.
