Man Shot In Leg Found On Lexington Sidewalk

Lexington Police are searching for answers after a man was shot in the leg early Thursday morning.

A witness found the man on the sidewalk on Johnson Street near 5th Street around 3:30 a.m.

The 41-year-old male victim went to UK Hospital with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the bullet went through his knee and the victim will need reconstructive surgery.

No arrests have been made.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
