Persistent People Rewarded With Chicken

Lexington's newest fast food restaurant is now open.

That's making the news because people from around the country started camping out Wednesday at the new Chick-Fil-A restaurant on Nicholasville Road.

The first 100 people in line at 6:30 Thursday morning received free Chick-Fil-A for a year. They got coupons for 52 free combo meals.

The first four people in line were from out of state.

I wonder how many people that were "persistent" enough to stand in line for over a day are unemployed slackers living off our tax dollars? My guess is probably about 70 percent of them. If they have that kind of ambition, they should use it to get a job.
