Governor Beshear Hoping To Attract Bio-Science Companies

Governor Steve Beshear spent his Thursday afternoon in sunny California, but it's for work, not vacation.

Governor is attending a convention on bio-sciences where he hopes to tell Kentucky’s story and invite companies to locate here.

Beshear will hold a reception Thursday evening in San Diego where bio-tech companies will stop by to talk with the governor and others about what Kentucky has to offer.

Probably hiding from his constituents following his decision to use his executive powers to allow funding of benefits to partners of Homosexual state employees. In spite of the fact that a marriage amendment was voted in during the 2004 election. Governor Beshear has shown his contempt for law and the will of Kentuckian voters. I would hide too.

Did we pay for this trip? He needs to pay for his own trips and get a tax deduction at the end of the year like everyone else.We pay him enough money to do that.
