Kentucky's Unemployment Rate Jumps

More signs of a struggling economy in Kentucky.

The state unemployment rate jumped to 6.2% in May.

That's up from 5.6% percent in April.

The national unemployment rate is 5.5%.

The state says a combination of students entering the work force and people looking for work to offset higher gasoline costs helped lift the unemployment rate.

get ready Medicaid system for a swarm of new clients. Welfare and SSI rates will skyrocket and those working will have to work longer, harder and pay more taxes to keep the others up....thats the American Way.
