Charges Filed In EKU Hazing Incident

After a three month investigation, Richmond police have now filed charges in a hazing incident at Eastern Kentucky University.
Two current members of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and one alumni member are charged with fourth degree assault.
Police say the three men used a paddle and cane to beat 23-year-old Brent Whiteside, a pledge of the fraternity.
Whiteside spent several days in the hospital.
21-year-old Thomas Barnes is in police custody. Police are still looking for 22-year-old Gabriel McLaren and 32-year-old Alonzo McGill.
If you have information on there whereabouts you are asked to contact Richmond Police at 859-623-8911.
The fraternity remains on suspension.

If anyone that's ever been at EKU thinks this is the first time, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you! There should be an INTENSE investigation into ALL of the Greeks...this would look like an everyday occurrence! Wake Up, administration, before someone ends up in the funeral home instead of the hospital!!

Idiots! They shouldn't just suspend the frat charter, but permanently ban it. This stuff goes on all the time at EKU. If it is ever to stop, there should be zero tolerance and harsh consequences.
