LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - What police say started as a large fight ended with four people being sent to the hospital Monday night.
Lexington Police say they were called to Atiya Place, near Winchester Road, just after 7 p.m.
Police say when they arrived, multiple people from the same family were fighting in the street.
During the fight, police say 23-year-old Jasmine Hughes grabbed a knife, and stabbed a 26-year-old man in the arm, and a 23-year-old woman in the back.
Police say the woman's wound was superficial due to her clothing stopping the knife blade.
Police say Hughes, the two victims, and another person were all taken to the hospital to be treated after the fight. However, none of the injuries are said to be serious.
Lexington Police later arrested Hughes, and charged her with two counts of assault.
