Man Is Recovering In A Hospital After Allegedly Breaking Into A Home

A suspect shot after breaking into a McCreary County home continues to recover.

Police say 20-year-old Rusty Hayes broke into a home in Pine Knot and attacked 19-year-old Charles Murphy as he slept.

Investigators say Murphy then grabbed a gun and shot Hayes twice.

Hayes is now at a Tennessee hospital.

So far, no charges have been filed.

    The robber gets what he deserves by breaking in and attacking someone in their own home. He is lucky he isn't dead, now maybe he will spend a LONG time in jail for doing something so stupid.
