Fraternity Suspended, Man Charged After EKU Hazing Incident

A fraternity has been suspended three months after a hazing incident on EKU's campus.

The National Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi suspended the EKU chapter for eight years.

Richmond Police arrested 21-year old Thomas Barnes.

Police say he and other members of the fraternity beat a pledge with a paddle and cane.

23-year old Brent Whiteside spent several days in the hospital.
