For the second time in two days, shots are fired at a Kentucky business.
Wednesday's shooting happened at Fuson Auto Sales near Pineville. One car salesman is recovering tonight and another is in jail.
Huey Jackson says about nine-thirty in the morning, just a few minutes after work started at Fuson Auto Sales, he heard gunfire. Jackson says Salesman Mike Willis ran through the car lot shooting at another salesman, Bill Livesay, eventually shooting him in the leg.
"As he was going through there, Bill was limping. He said I shot you, I told you I'd shoot you. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know whether to lock my door or what," Jackson said.
Jackson says he tried to keep Willis calm but admits he was scared for his life. He says Willis was still standing in the front doorway with a loaded 22 rifle.
"It's scary to look at a man that just shot another man and to see that look in his face like 'I don't care'. That is horrifying," Jackson said.
Police soon arrived and arrested 36 year old Mike Willis. They say 37 year old Bill Livesay was able to limp to a nearby medical clinic where he got help before he was rushed to the hospital.
Jackson says just minutes before the shooting, Mike Willis talked about a dispute over a sale he had with Bill Livesay. Jackson says from now on, he'll probably take that kind of a threat more seriously.
Livesay is stable tonight at the Pineville Hospital and he is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries.
Mike Willis is in custody at the Bell County Jail charged with first degree assault and first degree wanton endangerment and police say those charges could be upgraded.
