Shot Fired During Richmond Liquor Store Robbery

Police in Richmond are searching for two men they say were responsible for a violent robbery at a liquor store.

The holdup happened at around 7:30 on Wednesday night at East Main Liquors located at 1423 East Main Street.

Police say two men came into the store, asked for a bottle of water, then pulled out handguns and demanded money from the clerk.

Police say after the suspects took the money, one of them fired a single shot into the ceiling of the business and then both left on foot down East Main Street.

There were several people inside the business at the time of the robbery, No one was injured.

The suspects are described as the following:

1# Suspect: Black male, early 20's, thin build, corn row hairstyle, last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.

2# Suspect: Black male, early 20's, thin build, last seen wearing a black shirt and pants.
