Woman Hit By Train Dies

An eastern Kentucky woman who was hit by a train in Bell County Sunday has died.

Police say 82-year old Midlred Lockard was standing near the railroad tracks off Kentucky 2015 in the Fourmile area of Bell County when she was hit by the train around 5pm Sunday.

Officials say Lockhard was flown to the University of Tennessee hospital in Knoxville where she died Monday morning.

    I hate to hear about that little lady getting hit like that. I just live right down the road from the place where she got hit. I pray that she will be all right. My prayers go up for the family..............
