Police Look For Driver Involved In Hit & Run

A man is fighting for his life in the hospital after a bad accident that police say was caused by a hit and run driver.

Police say the driver crashed into a man and two parked vehicles on Walden Drive near Quail Run, not far from Wilson Downing Road late Sunday night.

A man living on Walden Drive heard the crash, came outside, found the victim and called 911.

The pedestrian, Anthony Gay, 30, of Louisville, was taken to UK Hospital.

He's listed in critical condition.

Police say no one got a good look of the car involved.

I send my prayers to Anthony and his family. I've known Anthony ever since high school and he's always been the coolest cat to hang out with. I hope someone comes forward with any information about that night, because what took place was someone being careless and cold hearted for leaving my friend the way they did. I hope whoever did this is caught, and if not karma will!

I've known Anthony half my life and cant believe that he's gone. Please anbody that knows anything contact the police . No one deserves to be left on the side of a road for dead. Whoever did this to my friend has to live with it for the rest of their life but for me that's not justice enough. I love you Anthony and your friends will not rest until someone pays for what they did.
