At least two upscale Lexington apartment complexes were broken into this weekend and thieves got away with a computer and hundreds of DVD's.

Police say whoever broke into the Fountains at Andover and Colts Run was likely looking for money, but got away with other things. At the Fountains, they broke in through a window, kicked in the office doors and stole some of the residents rent checks out of a drawer. The thieves also stole hundreds of DVD's.

At Colts Run, police say they got in through an open door, kicked in the office doors and stole a computer and a small amount of cash. They also stole most of the DVD collection.

I hate thieves. They are nothing but low-lifes and they deserve severe punishments if they are caught.
