Police: Juvenile injured in Lexington robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have launched an investigation after a juvenile told them he was robbed.

The robbery happened around 7:30 Thursday night along Crosby Drive, near Man o' War.

Police say the victim told them he was in a car with three other people, who stole his money and cell phone.

The victim got out of the car at a park and police say the three other people drove off.

Police say the victim was injured in the robbery and was taken to the hospital.

Lexington Police tell WKYT that they are interviewing a person of interest in this case.

They also say they don't think this robbery was random.
