Man Indicted For Shooting Neighbor's Dog

A Franklin County man has been indicted after police say he broke into his neighbor's house and shot her dog.

Samuel Richard Payne faces several charges, including burglary and cruelty to animals.

Police say Payne broke into the home, took a laptop computer and left. They say he then returned to the home with a gun to shoot his neighbor's barking dog.

Payne is being held without bond at the Franklin County Regional Jail.

Maybe his neighbor has a good reason to put two rounds in his chest and one in his head too.

Don't you think there are more serious issues out there than someone shooting someone elses dog!? After all a dog is just a dog. You can get them a dime a dozen. As far as I am concerned the only good dog is a dead dog!!!
