Dog Poisoning Investigation Is Underway

A Pike County man is under investigation after police say he baited and poisoned several dogs with pesticide.

Officials say Rod Moore of Narrows Branch in Hardy admitted to killing two dogs and confessed to poisoning four other dogs.

Police say Moore is facing charges stemming from the improper use of pesticide and could face animal cruelty charges in the future.

    They forget to mention this man that poison sereval animals was the same man that call kentucky state police to john creek horse show because he seen animal cruelty going on!!! Funny how folks like to tell there side!!!

    He should have called Animal control!!! He should go to jail for what he done.No one has the right to poison someone's animals.

    They forgot to mention there dogs run at large 24 hours a day and have killed 21 of the mans rabbits, a chicken, a cat, attacked a goat and several horses and all the dogs were killed in his pasture. Funny how folks only like to tell there side.
