The Blue Grass Council, Boy Scouts of America was notified that David Allen was arrested in a police sting regarding possession of child pornography.

David Allen attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church, a Charter Partner for Troop 59.

David Allen was one of 14 adult leaders for the troop.

He was arrested on June 18th for possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, and for four counts of sexual abuse.

The church has removed him as a volunteer and the Blue Grass Council revoked his membership in the Boy Scouts of America.

The Boy Scouts of America tell WKYT that there are no allegations of any misconduct or illegal activity regarding youth in the Scouting program.

They also say, the troops receive "Youth Protection Training", where youth are taught what is appropriate and to report incidences that make them feel uncomfortable.

They say David Allen was never left alone with children in the Boy Scouts, and they require that adults never be left alone with youth in a one-on-one situation.

At the time they screened David Allen, he had no prior criminal record.

He is now behind bars at the Lexington Detention Center.

I think the best course of justice would be to take this man and spread his arms out as far as they can go, tie his feet together, and attach him to a wood structure closely resembling the shape of his body.

And people still want to criminalize the Boy Scouts for having such high standards! I can tell you this my son is in the Scouts and they are very strict on leader/scout and even scout/scout relationship codes. It is discussed all through the scout handbook. At scout camps adult bathrooms are segregated from the scouts. People thought that was paranoid but considering today's society it doesn't seem so now. They can't even schedule activities unless their is more that one adult leader confirmed to attend. It is a policy we all should be aware of.

The Bible teaches us to love but these kinds of people sure make that difficult to do. Therefore I will say it like this: I pray for this pervert to turn to GOD and I do love him through Christ. But due to his sick actions, I also pray that they hang him on Broadway.
