New Law Aimed At Cleaning Up Meth Labs

A law aimed at protecting people from meth labs goes into effect Tuesday.

Anyone considering to rent, lease or buy property that once housed a meth lab must be notified in writing if it has not been properly cleaned up.

If the homeowner fails to this, they can be charged with a felony and be fined up to $25,000 and face one to five years in prison.
