Madison County Shooting Victim Released From UK Hospital

State police are investigating after a shooting Monday night in Madison County, off Kentucky 52 near the Madison-Estill County line.

Police say Christopher Coleman, 30, of Richmond was shot.

Police say Coleman was the passenger inside a car that was being followed by another car on Kentucky 52.

The drivers of both vehicles eventually stopped, police say, and Coleman got out and approached the following vehicle on Bybee Loop.

That's when Coleman was shot two times.

Coleman went to the Dollar General store in Waco, where an ambulance took Coleman to UK Hospital.

He's since been released from the hospital.

Police are still looking for suspects.
