Four People Indicted In Southern Ky. Murder

Two more people now face charges in a Whitley County murder.

A grand jury indicted John Anderson and Jason Anderson on murder, facilitation and complicity charges.

They're reportedly related to brothers James A. and James W. Anderson who were also indicted on the same charges.

Police arrested the brothers in June for the murder of 35-year-old Larry Jones. He was found shot to death along Cane Gap Road, about 7 miles from Williamsburg.

Police say the murder was drug related.

Police say both James A. and James W. Anderson admitted to being involved in the crime, but to different degrees.

I grew up with this family when they lived here in Michigan. James W and John are brothers, as are James A and Jason. They are half-brothers to each other. I grew up with John and James W. I was best man in John's wedding. I am here to say that neither of these men killed anyone unless it was in self-defense. They both have hearts of gold. Neither of them ever provoked a fight in their lives! But neither would they run from one. Both of them were laid back, quiet individuals, who would rather laugh with you, than fight with you. I say again, neither James or John would ever have anything to do with violence of any kind, except in self-defense. And I refuse to believe otherwise! I feel sorry for the families of everyone involved. But the truth will come out.

I wanted to give my deepest condolences to the victom and his family first of all. A death over drugs is very sad. And my heart also goes out to James Allen and his family. I'm a friend of Lori-Lynn and James when they were married here in Monroe. I met them shortly after marriage. They were a very happy couple. Then years later James got with the wrong crowd and became dependent on drug use. It riuned their marriage. Now what is so sad about the whole thing is that James Allen Anderson was a very laid back, quiet, gentle man. He would do anything he could for anyone he knew. He was a well respected certified machanic here in Monroe for several years. He loved making people laugh. He had a heart of gold, and a great character. I wish he could of got the help he needed before it got this far. Perscription drug addiction is rising in this country and killing our families everyday; mind, body, and soul. May GOD bless this case and everyone involved. And may the outcome be justified.......
