2010 World Equestrian Games CEO Stepping Down

The C.E.O. of the 2010 World Equestrian Games will be stepping down at the end of the month.

Jack Kelly says he's spoken with the board and feels with the looming deadline and several personal reasons he doesn't feel he can fulfill what's required as the manager.
He will stay on an advisory board as needed.

The board chair also released a statement saying Kelly served them well and helped create a "strong organization with a solid foundation." They've not decided if they will search for a permanent replacement.

Well of course he is going to step down.....no one wants to be assosciated with failure! People tend to have a long memory though and I think that when we are still paying for this years down the road we will remember ALL of these people who have "put the wood" to the average Joe here in KY for the benefit of the Horsey crowd. Any bet takers out there?
