There were some tense moments on Wednesday morning at the Capitol City Airport in Frankfort.
We're told an ultra light airplane made a crash landing just before noon.
The plane went down just short of the runway as the pilot was trying to land.
Fire crews responded to the scene but say the pilot and passenger were okay and are refusing treatment.
There's no word yet on what caused the plane to do down.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are both investigating.
