Fen-Phen Retrial Will Take Place In Frankfort

The re-trial of two lawyers, charged in connection with a diet drug lawsuit settlement, will be moved to central Kentucky.

Shirley Cunningham, Junior and William Gallion are accused of taking millions of dollars from their clients after they won a class action lawsuit involving Fen-Phen.

A northern Kentucky jury acquitted a third lawyer, Melbourne Mills, but couldn't reach a decision for the other two, resulting in a mistrial.

The Herald Leader now reports U.S. Judge Danny Reeves will oversee the second trial in Frankfort.

As one person out of the hundreds of people who have followed this trial in Northern Kentucky I will continue to kept a close watch on the events that continue in Frankfort as well. As my hard earned tax dollars continue to to spent on keeping these two gentlemen behind bars without a chance to make a second outrageously high bail I watch my highways being neglected and and read about murders who have bonds being set at one thousand dollars. This is a crime and a nightmare for these men and their families. I can only hope that the new judge will set a reasonable bond for these men.

Ok, I have not really read up on this , but the facts are stating these three took money from people who were supposed to be getting the money for a class action correct? So since they laundered the money , should they not get in trouble for it , or is it that since they have all this money , millions from what I have seen , they can get out of it. It is wrong they over benifited from others loss and pain.
