Kentucky Ranks 13th On List Of Obese States

Before you decide what to eat for dinner, take note of this. Kentucky is the 13th fattest state in the country.

A new study from the Centers for Disease Control finds at least a quarter of U.S. adults are obese.

Southern states dominate the top of the list. The CDC blames the traditional southern diet, high in fat and fried food.

Compared to our neighbors, Kentuckians aren't as obese as people in Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio and Missouri.

Indiana, Illinois, and Virginia all scored better.

The most obese state in the country is Mississippi. The least is Colorado.
