Governor Beshear To Visit Pulaski County Monday

Folks in Somerset are getting ready for a visit from the governor.

Governor Beshear spent Thursday in Pike County for his first stop on his town hall meeting tour. On Monday, people in Pulaski County will get their chance to ask questions and tell Kentucky’s governor what issues are important to them. He's traveling all across the state for the next five weeks listening to what Kentuckians think should be changed.

I think if he truly wants to travel across the state he should be doing it via automobile as other state workers do. He should also use the same rate for food paid to state workers while traveling. When government offices can not order ink pens it's shocking how much our leaders can spend. If he was given the same budget area offices have he would not have to travel to know what needs to be fixed. I thought he knew what was wrong with the state or at least that what he said to get my vote. I have a hint for him on whats wrong. Let him drive each day to work, buy groceries, and pay all utilities making $20,000 per year. After he learns to balance that then he may be qualified to balance the state budget.

if the trip to Somerset COSTS AS MUCH as the 1st trip - the 'citizens' won't be able to afford many more - with this BUDGET SHORTAGE and all
