Floyd County Rescue Squad Gets Recognized For Their Years Of Service

A local rescue squad got some major support at high speeds on the racetrack.

An official with the Floyd County Rescue Squad tells WYMT that several drivers at the built Ford Tough 225 Truck Race at the Kentucky Speedway Saturday recognized the rescue squad for their years of service.

The squad is celebrating 50 years serving Floyd County, and they were the first rescue squad in Kentucky, and we're told the third in the nation. At least five trucks displayed the rescue squad's logo during the race, and squad members were invited to the race.
