Man Claims Self Defense In Deadly Shooting

Somerset Police say a man acted in self defense when he shot another man to death overnight.

Police say three people - Heather Goff, her husband Jim Wesley Goff, and John Strunk - drove to Joshua Pyles' home last night to assault Pyles.

Police say Jim Wesley Goff was armed with a wooden club.

Officers say Pyles got a shotgun and asked the trio to leave his home and property.

Investigators say the suspects didn't follow orders, and Pyles shot Jim Wesley Goff once, killing him.

Police arrested Heather Goff and John Strunk.

They're charged with assault.

The shooting case will be taken to a Pulaski County grand jury.

We have to protect ourselves. No one else is. Maybe the next time these idiots try to hurt someone, they will think about it.
