Fugitive Escapes From Bell Co. Forestry Camp

Police have issued a warning after they say a potentially dangerous fugitive escaped from the Bell County Forestry Camp.

Police say William T. Hill, 41, escaped from the camp between 5:15 and 6:00 p.m. Monday.

Hill is described as a white man with green eyes and brown hair.

He is about 5'10" and weighs about 200 pounds and may be on his way to Laurel County.

Police say he is confirmed member of a notoriously violent gang called MS-13.

If anyone sees Hill, police say they should not approach him and should immediately call police.

You can contact KSP at Post 10 (606) 573-3131.

TO FRANCIS: I'M A K-9 UNIT AT THE CAMP, APPARENTLY THERE'S ALOT ABOUT BLOODHOUNDS THAT YOU DONT KNOW AND UNDERSTAND. IF YOU WOULD RESEARCH,STUDY AND/OR TRAIN WITH BLOODHOUNDS, YOU WOULD THINK DIFFERENT AND UNDERSTAND THE BLOODHOUND. SO PLEASE DON'T JUDGE US IF YOU DON'T WALK IN OUR BOOTS AND UNDERSTAND WHAT WE DO. THANK YOU AND HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY. Posted by: Francis Location: Bell County,Ky on Jul 29, 2008 at 01:17 PM I live about 1/2 mile from the camp where this man walked off from. Why can't the k-9 dog follow him to where he went. You can't catch him riding up and down the road in a marked car. I think they have a lot more freedom than they should. Don't bring these violent criminals to our community. Some good person is going to end up going to jail because we are tired of all this going on in this community.

I would have to agree with confused in Berea. The last I heard this facility was only approved for non-violent offenders. Either way, this is a huge set back for this guy. He won't be so lucky when he goes back. BCFC is actually a very nice place, he's really hurt himself.
