A Perry County man accused of trying to rob a Detroit, Michigan drug dealer so he could distribute OxyContin in eastern Kentucky pleads not guilty.

Kevin Green was arraigned in federal court in Pikeville Thursday afternoon.

The indictment says Green paid the Michigan dealer $40,000 for the pills and when he didn't get them, he set up a plan to rob him.

The judge set Green's trial date for October 7th in Pikeville.
