Mother Of Man Hit By Car Blames Narrow Road

The mother of a young Powell County man injured after his bike hit a car says changes need to be made to the road where the accident happened.

Justyn Lorntson, 19, is still in critical condition at UK Hospital. He was flown there Wednesday after he lost control of his bike and hit a car on Highway 82. His mother says the road is too narrow.

"They needed to have a sidewalk or a little more shoulder room, cause for people to even walk there, cause it is a bad area, people go flying down that road," said Theresa Marten.

Lorntson's family says he is starting to show some signs of improvement.
