Pilot Dies In Crash, Son Fighting For Life

A man is dead, and his son is fighting for his life, after their plane crash in western Kentucky.

The small plane went down Sunday, near the Fairdealing community of Marshall County.

Police say 80-year-old John Goss, of Hardin County was piloting the plane when it crashed. He later died at the hospital.

Goss' son, 52-year-old Alan Goss, was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries. There's no word on what caused the crash.
