This isn't the first time the Christ Centered Church on Eastland Parkway in Lexington has been the target of thieves. That noted, a church trustee says it's still hard to accept.

Church members discovered the theft this morning. Thieves broke into a trailer used in the Labor of Love ministry. Among the items inside, power tools and a member's motorcycle.

Church Trustee Mo Spurlock estimates the damage and the loss to be about 29-hundred dollars.

"You get calloused to the fact that people will steal anything if they're wanting it. They're not concerned who it affects or who it is," said Spurlock.

Past crimes at the church include the theft of sound equipment and air conditioners.

The Labor of Love mission was started after Hurricane Katrina.
