Governor Says State Cooperating In Federal Probe

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Gov. Steve Beshear says the state is
cooperating with federal investigators probing alleged improprieties in the awarding of highway construction contracts.
FBI agent T. Clay Mason said in an affidavit filed in U.S. District Court in London earlier this month that he has been investigating allegations of corruption in the Kentucky
Transportation Cabinet for more than a year. Mason submitted the 12-page affidavit dated Aug. 1 to support his request for warrants to search two eastern Kentucky businesses.
Federal agents seized documents and computers from a utilities
management firm and an accounting firm. They were looking for improper dealings between a road contractor and a former state
transportation secretary.

What a shock corruption in the state government. The trash that runs this state is the reason Kentucky ranks near the bottom in almost every major category. Democrats or Republican is does not matter.

A Dumocratic Witch Hunt. Save your investigation money for our current Guv, because I guarantee you are going to find so much dirt on this guy when you peer under his rock it will be too funny. I see on some other posts here on 27 that there are those calling for a re-call vote or some kind of impeachment to throw his sorry a** out of office. I have a bit of a southern/hick twang to me when I talk but Beshear jsut flat out emabaresses me when I hear him talking. I will donate to any fund that is out there to be rid of this joke we have for a Governor! Can I get an "AMEN"?
