A scare Wednesday night at Kentucky's largest airport turned out to be just a false alarm.

Police at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport in Boone County called in the bomb squad around 8:30 after workers unloading luggage from a Comair Flight noticed a package with wires sticking out covered in a white substance.

It turned out to be a portable dental kit.

The airport spokesperson tells NEWSFIRST no flights were delayed as a result of the incident.
