Boil Water Advisory Continues For Powell County Residents

Thousands of water customers in eastern Kentucky are still waiting on word of when their tap water will be safe for drinking.

Right now, every Powell County water customer must boil water. It's after a line broke while being repaired.

Students at school are still being given hand sanitizer for hand washing and bottled water. We're told test results on the water are expected late Thursday.

I want to know why that they have stated the kids are getting bottled water and hand sanitizer for washing hands. When I have been told my one middle school student and 2 high school students that they have not been giving any bottled water nor any hand sanitizer. Who has reported this? Because from what I have heard they are not doing as they have reported.
