Disturbing new information was released Thursday about the abuse a Kentucky child allegedly endured, before he died.

Mar'riel Lucas' mother and her boyfriend are on trial for the 6-year-old's death.

The News Enterprise reports the state medical examiner testified the Hardin County boy was hit more than 38 times before he died.

Tthe medical examiner said one of the injuries could have come from a claw hammer.

Danielle Lucas and her boyfriend, Antwan Hayes, both face life in prison if convicted.

How can these people make all these comments judging other and in the same breath say something about God. How can all you people make comments like y'all right so righteous, when there is only one righteous one. All you people want to judge when it says in the bible all fall short of God glory. And does it not say Judge not less ye, be judge.

What in the world could a 6yr old boy do so bad to be hit 38 times????? What kind of parent can do that to any child? I have a 9yr old and believe me he will test you to no end, but I know that I would not hit him 38 times, anyone should know that hitting a child that many times and less can do damage to their minds and body. I think once they are in prison that when the other inmates hear what they have done they will get there justice, I have heard that when you hurt a child and that is the reason for going to prison that the other inmate really dont like people like that. I think they need the death penalty because GOD does not like murders and he will make sure they get what they deserve.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, AMERICA PLEASE BRING BACK PUBLIC HANGING! THIS COUNTRY IS OUT OF CONTROL, IF SOMETHING IS NOT DONE SOON WE'LL NEVER GET IT BACK. WE HAVE GOT TO LET THESE IDIOTS KNOW THERE IS A SEVERE PENALTY FOR CRIME. WE PAY $30,000-$40,000 A YEAR TO KEEP CRIMINALS IN JAIL BUT A SINGLE MOTHER GETS $14,000 ON MINIMUM WAGE. WHY DO WE AMERICANS BELIEVE CHILD MOLESTORS AND MURDERERS ARE WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN HONEST HARD WORKING CITIZENS.

Well I feel the child is with God, This is why I say real parents should stay together because boyfriends and girlfriends never seem to be as good to step children maby that is why its called step The children get step on by the newcomers, In this case stomped!!Courts make it to easy for mothers to become child support moms and then collect from X Daddy some mothers make it a vocation to have children and collect child support and government money.they spend on new boyfriends but lots of these child support boyfriends abuse other mens children its in part the courts fault.

"An eye for an eye" went when we let state and federal agencies decide to HELP these poor unfortunate baby killers, drug heads, drunks, pedophiles, etc. Now all they have to do is cry, "I've got drug problems, my enviroment as a child was less than perfect, whin, whin, whin" and some idioit will buy it, stand up for them in court, give them free food, housing, provide day care for their children, and help them go back to college. And while all this great help is being given to these "poor unfortunates" they're still doing/selling drugs and laughing all the way.

If convicted? What is up with that? I think that people that do things like this should be torchered every single day of their lives until they draw their last breath. No one that would hurt a child deserves to live nor do they deserve to die. They should have to be done the same way the child was but with a lot more power and intensity each and every day they are alive. I know that the system doesn't work in the favor of the child the way that it should but I do know that all of these child abusers and killers will one day have to face the wrath of God and that is when they will really be sorry!
