Pet Owners Warned To Look Out For Rabid Skunks

Another Kentucky community warns people to protect their pets from rabid skunks.

The Jessamine County Health Department passed out fliers in two communities where rabid skunks were recently found: Heritage Estates and the Chrisman Mill Road area.

They say it's important you stay clear of any animal that may be acting strange.

Just last month, the Woodford County Health Department warned people about rabid skunks found there, and Lexington has reported several cases of rabid bats.
