A new primary care clinic will soon open in Eastern Kentucky.

Officials broke ground for the new Harold Primary Care Clinic on U.S. 23. The office will have four doctors, physical therapy, and radiology. Officials say the clinic will bring better healthcare closer to home and will help bring new doctors to the area.

Jeremy Craig Parsons, M.D., says, “Eastern Kentucky is a huge area that needs physicians and I think by being here hopefully I will be able to provide some care to people who need it.”

Officials say they hope to open the clinic in March of next year.

after all those scandals it is unlikely for this endeavor to be successful. this is a big tug o war between Highlands and PMC with the loser being the patient and consumer.
